Eleah Jayne Peal is a director, fight/movemnent choreographer, performer and education artist working with stage companies and arts education programs in the Capital Region of NY. Eleah graduated with a B.F.A. in Acting from SUNY Fredonia in 2015 and has extensive method, movement and classical text training with the Moscow Art Theatre School and Shakespeare and Co. in Lennox, Massachusetts. She received an M.S. in Organization Management during COVID from Russell Sage College, and works at The Theatre Institute at Russell Sage College as both administrative support and as a professor of Stage Combat and Makeup for the Stage for the Performing Arts Department. Additionally, Eleah works with local high schools and theatre youth programs, and is a proud board member of the Creative Action Unlimited, artistically involved with CAU's Playback Theatre Company and touring productions Any Addict, Carry Your Heart, The Climb & Release . A consent forward artist, Eleah is further exploring the role of intimacy & power in theatrical movement, using theatre as a tool to empower the powerless and underrepresented.
